The first floor and basement of that building still houses For Love of Children, one of DC's more awesome tutoring programs, right? (They were still there a month ago.) Who's going to want to live above a space where several dozen children are coming and going 6x a week?
Yes, For Love of Children it still there (and still awesome). They moved there in mid-2005. From mid-2000 to mid-2005 they were located in the Thurgood Marshall Center on 12th Street.
