Apartment Houses: The Park Regent

The Park Regent. 1701 Park Road NW. If you live on the south face of this building, you have a great view of the Mount Pleasant commercial strip. Couldn't find much on the history of the actual building. If you live here, do you like it?

My girlfriend looked at an apartment in this building. It seemed pretty run-down and the apartments were very small. The price seemed about right for what it was though...

I live at the Park Regent. The apartments are small but the management is great and totally on top of repairs and it's a great location to live in. Not planning on moving anytime soon.

I like the Park Regent. It could you a little renovation though. The management is really nice though, and people are really friendly out and about. I've lived there for a year and half and have had a nice experience. They raised my rent by $50 though for 2010. Still paying significantly less than U st though.

I live there also and agree that management is pretty cool. The view and sunlight on the south side of the building are great. Studios are small and have no frills, which keeps costs down (and they don't charge for cats).

I think I read somewhere that the Park Regent was Harry Wardman's only contribution to Mt. Pleasant.

Cheapo, a little down-at-edges, no frills, but sunny and fantastic views down Mt. Pleasant St. Wouldn't want to live anywhere else.
