Trees Return to Adams Morgan

Another good sign for Adams Morgan. Trees have returned to 18th Street NW. The east side of the street anyway. Some liked the open look of a bare street. But, I welcome the trees; especially on the expanded sidewalks. Trees make the street more pleasant to walk on and interesting to look at, although I generally enjoy the architecture in Adams Morgan, too. Looking forward to seeing the west side of 18th Street take shape over the next few months. According to DDOT Dashboard, this streetscape project is 80% complete as of today. Scheduled completion is August 15, 2012.
