IT'SUGAR (yes, the name is stylized as "IT - apostrophe - SUGAR") opened in Chinatown yesterday. And... well... it's a candy store, just like we figured. There are some novelty items and t-shirts, but really it's about 45% bulk candy, 45% prepackaged candy, and 10% everything else. And another 10% dance music. So, there's 110% of stuff in there. But, since it appears to be one of those places that leaves the front door open no matter the weather, some of the awesome/sugar/EDM will surely ooze out onto the sidewalk. I'm known to have a mid-afternoon sweet tooth, so yeah, maybe see you there. 714 7th St NW.
