Neighborhood Concert Series Starts May 3

The Adams Morgan Summer Concert Series is back, and a bit early this year! Perhaps in a bid to avoid some of the more problematic sweat-weather of July? If so, good call. The music happens on each Saturday beginning at 5:00PM. The location is BB&T Bank Plaza at the corner of 18th St and Columbia Rd NW. You can absolutely take the 42 bus there, as well as the 90s buses, the L2, and the Circulator.

From the organizers:

"All concerts are FREE and occur from 5 PM to 7 PM at the plaza in front of the BB&T Bank at the corner of Columbia and Adams Mill Roads, NW.

May 17 - Rochelle Rice

May 31 - Jelly Roll Mortals
Jelly Roll Mortals are a DC-area collision of after-the-fall musical vagabonds

June 7 – Batida Diferente
Formerly Trio Scorro, this quintet brews up Brazilian jazz, bossas and sambas for a saucy sound.

June 21 - Clarence Buffalo
Residing on the soul side of the rock spectrum, 'Clarence Buffalo' takes it's name from a classmate of guitarist Rich Prisinzano. The stout rhythm section of Justin Smith (bass) and Chris Zogby (drums) coupled with the warm guitar tones provide a perfect backdrop for the soulful vocals of Mark Romero.

June 28 - Colonel Josh and the Honky Tonk Heroes
