The folks at Cultural Tourism DC will be offering several dozen walking (and some bike) tours of neighborhoods in our fair city. Every neighborhood from Brookland to Barry Farms will be covered. For fun, some themed tours will be conducted as well; think Lincoln's Assassination, The Spies of Georgetown.The Old Mount Pleasant walking tour starts this Saturday at 10AM and begins at the Columbia Heights Metro (east exit, near Victory Heights building). It will end around noon at Lamont Park. I wonder if Rat Park is part of the tour. Doubt it, but maybe I'll show up to offer a side bar on Mt P's most beloved public gathering spot (for rats).
