...well, not officially our Sister Cities. Baltimore, MD and Richmond, VA are just within reach of a day trip, but maintain their own identities separate from DC. What do you like about our neighbors to the North and South? I will start: Richmond has the Fan and Carytown neighborhoods, filled with independent stores and mom and pops; they charm just as much as Georgetown and Dupont. Baltimore has the new Reginald Lewis and American Visionary Art Museums, rivaling the best of DC's museums.
