Seemed like a success from my vantage point... Great job by the organizers, lots of music, great food (yes, several Chinese food places) and the arts "spur" on Belmont made for a happy me. The booth ratio of businesses to service organizations was nice and many of the 18th St shops had booths in the street as well. I talked to security personnel at 5pm and there were "only" two fights. Street performer and comedian Terrell Brown strolled the festival dressed as a goofy cop a la Martin Lawrence as pizza guy in Blue Streak. There were drum circles, body painting and street karaoke at Peyote. The on-stage music was varied and the dancing was in full swing. There were many strollers, doggies on leashes and friendly faces.
