Here's the Tivoli Theatre building looking rather alive and elegant last night. Inside is a small theatre for performing arts (Gala), but I had just come back from Screen on the Green, a slightly different type of "theatre." Outside and all. Anyway, a nice streetscape shaping up in Columbia Heights via 14th Street NW.

Post-Theatre Theatre

Any update on the space that used to be Carvel/Cinnabon? Still vacant? I haven't been up that way in a little while.
the space reopened as the uptowner cafe. sandwiches, coffee, etc. maybe three weeks ago...
