Perhaps the story of the year for all the wrong reasons. A major fire destroyed an apartment buidling at 3145 Mt Pleasant Street in March of this year. The remains sit, for the most part, as they did immediately after the fire. No residents have returned and only basic structural work has been completed on the shell of the structure.
