The Corcoran Gallery of Art will open its doors at no cost on Saturdays for the remainder of July and August. Free Summer Saturdays began in late June. The remaining Saturdays from July 25 until August 29 encompass the rest of the promotion.There will be multiple activities including docent tours of the building, interpretive discussions of artwork, art workshops and more. Admission is usually $10.00. A very nice gesture by the Gallery. It is located at 500 17th Street NW, not far from the White House. About 5 blocks from the nearest 42 bus stop.
