While some kids I knew were busy explaining why Green Day were sell-outs, I was blasting this album and enjoying every second of it. 1994's Dookie got me through many a boring summer day and long late night drives home from work. Yes, Kerplunk was a great album, and MTV could ruin the coolness factor of some great underground bands. But how could you say no to this album. And this song! Here's Green Day with Basket Case.
