T.J. Maxx will soon open a store in downtown DC. The Massachusetts based department store currently has two locations in the District; 1060 Brentwood Rd NE and 4350 Jenifer St NW. The parent company of T.J. Maxx also owns the Marshalls brand, with one DC store at 3100 14th St NW. The lease for the new space was signed last year.
The Homer Building (601 13th St NW) is the location of the third DC T.J.Maxx store. The space comprises 2 floors and totals 29,000 sq ft. This photo is of the F Street side of the building. The T.J. Maxx website indicates that the store will open on April 22 at 8:00AM, but will keep regular hours of 9:30AM - 9:30PM Monday-Saturday and 11:00AM - 8:00PM Sunday.
